Heikki Sobong �tait un petit contrebandier ceinturien. Il a �t� captur� par les forces des Nations Unies alors qu'il transportait en contrebande des �l�ments de technologies furtives. Il a �t� de ce fait �t� soup�onn� de servir les int�r�ts martiens et a ete interroge sur Terre par Chrisjen Avasarala. Lors de son transfert vers Luna, il arrive � se suicider en faisant en sorte de ne pas recevoir l'injection du s�rum antigravit�, ce qui provoquera une embolie lors du passage � grande vitesse de sa navette.
